Many individuals that come into treatment love adventures while others are scared to try. With Rehab for Couples, adventurers and non-adventurers alike develop and learn a lot of positive virtues and practices when they undergo our adventure program.
This program involves hiking, camping, zip-lines, rafting, and many other adrenaline-inducing activities. Based on the experiential therapy, adventurous activities are a highly effective method of recovery. The endurance, courage, and cooperation drawn in the activities are very great for people going through treatment. It inspires the bravery to face fears boldly, teachers working hand in hand with other through proper communication, and helps them see that through consistent perseverance they can go through anything successfully.
Along the psychosocial components developed in the activities, they are getting their bodies in good shape and function as well. They may even realize interests and abilities they didn’t know they were capable of like rowing a boat or climbing up a wall.
These activities help build trust, empathy, and determination. By doing something as a group, they could relate more to each other and learn how to deal and work well with other people.
